Helping
UK trade associations
to promote their member's interests
IDEA
was formed seven years ago, to offer to UK trade associations a
service of
collecting and publishing their member information in a variety
of formats:
 |
Web sites. |
 |
Electronic catalogue on CD Rom. |
 |
Printed directories. |
Our aim is to produce well
designed publications which are effective, accurate and
excellent value for money. The IDEA Business Tracker system is
continuously developed and refined and has been used by
organisations as diverse as:
 |
British Footwear
Association |
 |
British Pump
Manufacturers Association |
 |
Construction Equipment
Association |
 |
Department for
Environment, Food & Rural affairs (DEFRA) |
 |
Japanese Electronic
Business Association |
 |
National Access &
Scaffolding Confederation |
 |
Society of Motor
Manufacturers and Traders |
 |
Sports Industries
Federation |
 |
Stone Federation Great
Britain |
 |
The Manufacturing
Technologies Association |
Because of IDEA's
concentration, it is able to offer an effective service which is
designed to fulfill the specific requirements of trade
associations. IDEA will do everything from the initial
conception, obtaining materials from member companies, collating
these and ensuring that the construction of the indexes and
terminology within the publication are common usage within
industry, designing and programming the system and, if required,
distributing it to British export institutions throughout the
world. These services are designed to complement those of a
trade association; associations may pick what they require to be
done and do themselves what fits within their own organisation.
Publications can be financed in a number of different ways and
IDEA has considerable experience in such schemes. We would be
happy to work with you to develop the most appropriate system
for your organisation.
Above all, IDEA
publications are intended to be effective and user friendly, in
both European and oriental languages. They are designed with the
requirements of the user in mind, not from the basis of using
the latest tricks and gimmicks.
The machine must be
the servant not master.
